I agree - listening to Lenny Henry made the book better. It was an easy read, but much more fun to hear.

If you want to read it, I could loan you American Gods, which is much more serious that AnanziBoys, and the novel and DVDs of Neverwhere. Oh, and I've got Coraline around here too (fairly creepy children's horror).

already listend to american gods...it was the first gaiman for me, actually :)

enjoyed it immensely, so then got Anansi boys which I LOVED (yep, lots more fluffy but I am ok with that :))

He did an excellent job. Gaiman said he had Lenny's voice in his head while writing it...
