in other news, I'm about done with these:

as a trade to cute little red haired apprentice. they're in lovely soft heathery green alpaca and will match the colorwork hat I gave her for christmas a few years back.
I'm rather pleased with them if I do say so meself. Photos will of course be forthcoming when they're actually done.
then I have to decide what to make next....the laurel beanie? noro striped scarf to work on my lever knitting? the gagiana beret? oh, the choices.....
