I have a deal for you!
I want to make a strap to go with a small color work knitted bag. the pattern suggests an i-cord (BORING) and it occured to me that a smallish (1" wide or so, less than 2 yards long) tablet or inkle woven band, incorporaring the same yarn as the bag (a light worsted weight shetland wool) would be pretty spiffy in a simple pattern with some of the same design elements as the colorwork....
I'd be happy to trade a knit object of your choice (well, within limits. hat, mittens, bag, colorwork, felted, all good. big fair isle sweater? not so much. socks? well, maybe, but you'd have to sweeten the deal alot and we'd have to have long conversations about the type of yarn and how fine a guage you wanted ;))
